National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys NACBA is the only national organization dedicated to serving the needs of consumer bankruptcy attorneys and protecting the rights of consumer debtors in bankruptcy. Formed in 1992, NACBA now has more than 1200 members located in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Since 1997, NACBA has led the fight against the anti-debtor legislation in Congress for which the consumer credit industry has lobbied so aggressively. National Association of Mortgage Brokers Established in 1973, the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) is the only national trade association representing the mortgage broker industry. With 46 state affiliates, and more than 24,000 members, NAMB promotes the industry through programs and services such as education, professional certification and government affairs representation. NAMB members subscribe to a code of ethics and best lending practices that foster integrity, professionalism and confidentiality when working with consumers. The Louisiana Home Builders Association comprised of Builders & Associate members which represents the homebuilding industry before state & regulatory bodies. Capital Region Builders Association The Capital Region Builders Association, chartered in 1953, is dedicated to protecting and encouraging the "American Dream" of home ownership. Louisiana Association of Business and Industry is the largest and most effective business lobbying group in Louisiana. It was formed over twenty-five years ago by business leaders from all over the state. The association unified the state's business community into a strong, well-financed, properly staffed organization. It speaks for business and industry, not only during legislative sessions, but year-round. Baton Rouge Bar Association The Mission of the Baton Rouge Bar Association is to be a catalyst to promote increased and innovative service to the community and the Bar, while maintaining a spirit of professional courtesy. Louisiana State Bar Association The mission of the Louisiana State Bar Association is to assist and serve its members in the practice of law, assure access to and aid in the administration of justice, assist the Supreme Court in the regulation of practice of law, uphold the honor of the courts and the profession, promote the professional competence of attorneys, increase public understanding of and respect for the law, and encourage collegiality among its members. |
